Alright, well the blog thing definately didn't work out. I made one post right before I came up here, and now my second post is three months in. It is ok, knowing myself I half expected this to happen. The problem up here is a limited amount of internet, a limited amount of time, and a very limited amount of inclination. I am only updating right now because I am killing time before I go zip-lining today!

Now, it's difficult to make a blog update because so much has happened since my last one that there is no way I am going to attempt to cover it all. So I'll just cover the basics.

No, I have not wrestled a bear, frolicked atop a caribou's antlers, or obtained a bald eagle as a pet :) but I have seen all these animals since I've been up here! Most of the time I see them while working on the train, which I must say is a pretty awesome job. While working with tourists can often be a frustrating (to say the least) thing, I still have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world while traveling up a beautiful mountain pass on a historic train every day. I love my co-workers and house mates (most of which are both). On my days off I get to enjoy being in a really cool town in a beautiful part of Alaska and do awesome things like zip lining, dog mushing, etc. So my point is, be jealous, because life up here is great!
